Autism
Friday, October 17th, 2008“I have found that delayed food sensitivities in a child with autism are as unique to each one as well as are their dietary habits. With milk (Casein) and wheat (Gluten) being among the most common problems, their elimination leads to success in a large number of cases. Those children who do not respond to the milk and wheat-free (GF/GC) diet probably have other foods contributing to ASD Symptoms. Through very specialized testing (G-Test) we have been able to accurately pinpoint other common foods that affect autism, ADHD, and hyperactivity in children.”
”Early diagnosis of autism is extremely important if diet manipulation is to manage this problem. Since the medical community is usually extremely resistant to the concept that simple foods cause chronic diseases, pediatricians are reluctant to make an early diagnosis of any chronic disease.” For more information please visit Sage Home under Links.

“As an adoptive mother of a child with autism, the challenges have been both heart-wrenching & depressing, as well as uplifting & inspirational, and everything in between. But having an exact list of foods to avoid, a plan to go with it, and Chef Lonnie’s wonderful suggestions and recipes, has made the many changes for our entire family so much smoother, and Callee has just blossomed into a wonderful little person. Thank you Sage, I owe you a big one.“
